Terror on rampage

Terror revisited Gujarat and Maharashtra this week. Three people were killed in a major motor-bicycle blast that took place in a busy market area of Malegaon. Nearly 70 people were injured.

Of the dead, two had been identified as Azar Mohammed Aziz and Azar Sayyed Nissar, the police said.

In Gujarat blast one person was dead and at least eight injured.

Modassa, a small Muslim dominated town in North Gujarat, nearby Rajasthan border was rocked by a low intensity blast on September 29.

The blast took place when Muslims of Tukabazar were just about to break their fast. Earlier in the day, seventeen crude bombs were found near the Kalupur Darvaza of Ahmedabad. The bombs found were not sophisticated devices but crude explosives, according to the cops.
